🚛 Bungunya, QLD & Moree, NSW – From 12 October 2026 for 6–8 weeks – Road train driver – Paid position
A farming operation with work around Bungunya, Queensland and Moree, New South Wales is looking for an experienced road train driver for the upcoming 2026 grain harvest.
The position is expected to run for approximately 6–8 weeks from 12 October 2026.
This is a paid seasonal opportunity with good equipment, accommodation provided and the advantage of returning to the farm each night.
The role
Duties will include:
✅ Carting grain on-farm
✅ Delivering grain to local depots
✅ Operating road train combinations during harvest
✅ Working within logbook and fatigue-management requirements
✅ Assisting the harvest operation to keep grain moving efficiently
Equipment
You'll be operating well-maintained equipment including:
✅ Kenworth trucks
✅ Western Star trucks
✅ Roadranger gearboxes
✅ Moore tippers

✅ Reliable and safety-focused
✅ Comfortable operating road train combinations
✅ Experienced with Roadranger gearboxes
✅ Happy working long harvest days within legal logbook hours
✅ Familiar with farm, grain or regional transport work
Previous harvest or agricultural cartage experience would be highly regarded.
