A motel in the heart of the Grampians, Victoria is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and results-driven live-in motel manager or management couple to oversee the day-to-day operation of the property.

Singles and couples are welcome to apply.

This is a hands-on management role for someone who enjoys hospitality, takes pride in providing excellent guest service and is comfortable managing the practical day-to-day requirements of a busy accommodation business.

The role

Responsibilities will include:

✅ Managing guest check-ins and check-outs
✅ Providing friendly and professional customer service
✅ Handling reservations, emails and online booking platforms
✅ Supervising housekeeping and maintaining presentation standards
✅ Coordinating property maintenance and contractors
✅ Managing day-to-day motel operations
✅ Stock control, reporting and inventory management
✅ Responding to guest enquiries and after-hours issues
✅ Supporting marketing activities and online reviews
✅ Building relationships with local tourism operators and businesses

What they're looking for

Previous experience in motel, hotel, holiday park or hospitality management would be highly regarded.

Applicants should also have:

✅ Strong customer service and communication skills
✅ Good computer and reservation-system skills
✅ Excellent organisation and time management
✅ Ability to work independently and take responsibility for daily operations
✅ Practical approach to housekeeping and minor maintenance
✅ Current driver's licence
✅ Australian working rights
