Coward Springs Campground is looking for caretakers for the summer period from November 2026 through to late January 2027.

A shorter placement may also be available from approximately 1 November to 15 December 2026.

This is a very relaxed caretaker role, with less than one hour of work per day on average. Summer is a particularly quiet time at the campground, with very few campers staying during this period.

The role

Duties are straightforward and include:

✅ Some watering
✅ Checking drippers and irrigation
✅ Cleaning campground amenities
✅ General oversight of the campground

✅ Optus mobile coverage
✅ Plenty of free time to enjoy the area

Your own caravan or accommodation is preferred, although a staff caravan can be provided if required.

This would be a great opportunity for a couple or individual looking for a quiet summer base, minimal daily duties and the chance to experience a unique part of outback South Australia.
